UPS Healthcare is launching its UPS Premier service in Europe, a technological innovation that enables more accurate delivery of healthcare packages.
UPS Healthcare is introducing UPS Premier in Europe, a service that has played an important role in vaccine delivery in the United States. It provides more control and visibility over sensitive medical package shipments through advanced sensor technology.
"From biologics to medical devices, our customers are demonstrating unprecedented innovation, and demanding near-perfect service levels in return," said Monica Alvarado, UPS Healthcare marketing director for Europe.
"With our technology, we will be able to classify and identify critical medical shipments before they are entrusted to us by our customers; and provide them with unprecedented control, visibility and reliability across their supply chain.
The service will meet temperature requirements and delivery deadlines, and will allow packages to be located within 10 feet, even if they are small.
