The carrier Sterne launches Access Desk, a dedicated delivery service for travelling professionals. It allows for delivery to 360 professional counters in France and is available from 8am on the next day.
This new offer responds to the needs of technicians, sales representatives, craftsmen, health professionals, construction and public works professionals and food industry professionals on the move, by offering drop-off points close to the work site.
The service promises to be "more reactive without increasing the cost of stock immobilisation" and "to offer a personalised and priority welcome".
This offer complements Access Direct, which already allows delivery or pick-up directly at a customer location (36,000 parcels transported each week via the TCS network to 800 customer sites) and Access Car, which enables overnight delivery to the boot of a vehicle on the next day before 8 a.m. (15,000 parcels transported per week). The Access network has 72,000 stops and 2,000 daily rounds.
