Par ediallo - 19 September, 2021 - 12:05

On September 21 in Saint-Nazaire, a first national professional event, called Wind for Goods, will be dedicated to new modes of maritime transport using wind propulsion technologies.

Five conferences will be organized, with the presence of Jean Louis Etienne, explorer; Lise Detrimont, general delegate of Wind Ship; Jean-Emmanuel Sauvée, president of Armateurs de France and Jean Zanuttini, president of Neoline.

More than 20 innovations in sailing transport will be presented in real conditions. Five boats will be exhibited in real conditions on the basin and will offer visits and sea trips.

Sixteen companies will also exhibit their innovations, such as Airseas, Solidsail from Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Farwind and Neoline.

With the Wind For Goods event, Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement, in partnership with the Wind Ship association, is encouraging and supporting the development of the sector, in line with its commitment to an eco-responsible industry in the region.
