Air France-KLM: Nicolas Fouquet, new CEO for North Africa and Sahel

Nicolas Fouquet has been appointed, as of September 1, 2021, Chief Executive Officer of Air France KLM for the North Africa-Sahel region based in Casablanca.

"He succeeds Pierre Muracciole, who ceased his duties as CEO of Air France-KLM for the region on the same date," said an Air France-KLM press release, specifying that this region comprises seven countries, namely Morocco, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Tunisia.

Nicolas Fouquet has an experience of over 20 years in air transport. He started his career in Morocco with Maroc Aviation and Bureau Veritas Morocco, before joining Air France-KLM in December 2000.

He held several positions within Air France-KLM, including the Directorate of Ground Operations Europe & North Africa before taking over the Directorate of Operations of the Paris-Charles de Gaulle HUB, in charge of operational management of 760 daily flights.
